Jan Maciej Błachowicz (Polish: [ˈjan bwaˈxɔvitʂ]; Cieszyn, Poland; February 24, 1983) is a Polish mixed martial arts fighter who currently competes in the light heavyweight category in Ultimate Fighting Championship, where he is the current champion.1
A professional since 2007, he also competed in promotions such as KSW, where he was light heavyweight champion. He is the second Polish champion in UFC history,2 after Joanna Jędrzejczyk and the first Polish male champion.
Currently, Blachowicz is ranked #7 in the UFC’s official rankings of top pound-for-pound male fighters.
